Behind the Mic

Skyler leverages a degree in Molecular Biology, alongside his spouse's medical expertise, to bring a formally-educated and grounded approach to scientific, medical, and nonfiction narration. With an added love for theatricality, live performance, history and fantasy, he brings a broad spectrum of voices and styles to his fiction work as well.

Skyler may have never been his family's black sheep, but he was always the weird, now 'eccentric,' younger brother. From modern dance and motorcycles, to learning new blacksmithing techniques and computer programming, he's a habitual dabbler. The one thing that remains constant is his desire to learn, to create, to perform, and to teach, and his favorite narration roles have always offered a little bit of each.

When he isn't spending time in the booth or watching sad movies, you'll usually find him rock climbing, playing or designing board games, or waist-deep in whatever house project his wife wants done this week.
